We are based in Balmullo, Fife, Scotland.  We show and breed European Boxers.  Our dogs are family pets first and foremost and show dogs second.

My love of Boxers began at the tender age of 5 when my uncle Jonathan brought 'Prince 1' to meet me!  I remember his slobbers and the size of his head!  He was a great dog, full of life and fun!  He loved children and we loved him!  Uncle Jonathan went on to have another 4 boxers, after Prince sadly died at 14!  My Aunty Karen and Uncle Brian also had and still have boxers.  One of which is now 12!

I bought my first boy when I was 24 from a breeder in Hull.  I drove all night 20hrs round trip due to a useless map reader, well both of us!  It was love at first sight! He was only 6 weeks when I took him back to Scotland and he became, within a short period of time an over grown lap-dog, something I now know is normal boxer behaviour!!  He slept in my bed and sat in the passenger seat of my 2 seater sports car!  This was one of his favorite things to do!!  The wind in his slobbery chops put a huge smile on his black face!

I then met my now husband Tam.  After a year together we decided to get Tizer (Aleshano Dark Parade) a friend, this is when Chilli (Bouncy Aboyne Mel) came into our lives!  She was my husband's first pet and first love :P  She was also only 6 weeks when we brought her home!!  Tizer, well, he was far from amused but within days they were best friends!  They had the odd tiff but loved each other!  Chilli was the "stick dog!"  if it was lying (and sometimes when it was still attached!!), it was hers!!  Size was no object!  The tree trunks that little dog could carry was astonishing!  We had 4 amazing years with Chilli and 5 with Tizer.  The loss of Chilli within 6 months of Tizer was heartbreaking and almost ended my love, due to the heartbreak that sometimes follows!  Since doing all the research I have into JKD (Juvenile Kidney Disease)  I have realised that Chilli had about 5 carrying/producing dogs within her pedigree.  She had ALL the signs but was never diagnosed!  She urinated in the house but we always thought it was Tizer, until he died and she continued to do so.  She was often sick and her weight went up and down.  She always had problems with nails falling off/breaking etc.  The vets never did any blood/urine testing through her whole life and put it down to just fake pregnancies.  When this happened PDE2 had not been released and I think it was lack of knowledge.  I have no question that she died from the lines she was bred with!  Tizer was an uncle/niece mating - something I didn't realise until very recently because I had never gone through his pedigree.

Our daughter, Alanya, who was 2 at the time took it really badly as well and we realised we would have to get another dog, for her if nothing else. I contemplated another breed, possibly a Dogue de Bordeaux but by now Tam was a Boxer man through and through and would hear none of this other breed nonsense. For him it could only be another Boxer. Soon after alot of moaning and showing the boxer cone head babies, Tam got his way and we got Dizzy!  I had trawled the internet for weeks to find a dog we both wanted and as soon as I saw her I knew she was the one! I didnt even have to discuss it with Tam as I knew what he wanted and she was perfect so I travelled to Ireland to get her while he was still offshore.   She is an amazing dog and after 2 years, she just gets better and better!  She is the 'lap-dog' now(at 32kg this can be quite difficult but she has serious size issues!) and she is now at the "stick!!!!!!!" stage!  She loves the water, the woods, the beach and anything that she can get dirty and/or wet in!!!

Shortly after,we decided to get her a friend as very few dogs in the local park tolerate a big dog and we felt the time was right!  We were very fortunate that both her parents were from the Del Colle Dell 'Infinito kennels in Italy and thanks to Sandro Tanoni we got Amoruso AKA Mike Del Colle Dell'Infinito.  We drove to Recanati in Italy to bring him the 1600 miles back to Scotland!  He was worth every mile and every penny. He truly is an amazing dog.  He was pick of the litter and I was lucky enough to choose him at 3 days old!  I loved his shape, his head and his typical boxer stance!  He had to be ours!  Dizzy was over the moon!  Another dog to play with!!

At the time of writing this, Amoruso has reached 2yrs and the staggering weight of 40kg. I suppose the daily feeding of 1.3kg of raw meat has a lot to do with this! His temperament is phenomenal, putting up with constant annoying from 2 kids of 4 & 5 and Dizzy trying to prove she is the top dog! Oh and the new addition "Roma!" Thinking she is a furry missile! She is hilarious but Amo puts up with anything she throws at him (usually her entire body!).

People often say the temperament of the Boxer is great but we seriously wouldn't have another breed now. We adore our dogs wholeheartedly and are over the moon with the litter we have just had.

BOXERS FOREVER!!!!
